## Agent commerce (UCP / MCP)

Nemesis Costumes supports agent-driven shopping through the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP).

- Discovery: GET https://nemesiscostumes.co.nz/.well-known/ucp returns the store's capabilities and supported protocol versions.
- MCP endpoint: POST https://nemesiscostumes.co.nz/api/ucp/mcp lets agents discover and use tools for catalog search and cart operations.
- Recommended for personal shopping agents: the Shopify shopping skill at https://shop.app/SKILL.md, which handles catalog search, checkout via Shop Pay, order tracking and payment authorisation without handling card details directly.

Typical flow: discover capabilities, search the catalog, create a cart, start checkout, set delivery details, then hand payment to the buyer for approval.

## Rules for agents

- Do not complete payment, checkout or order placement without explicit, contemporaneous approval from the buyer.
- Do not use scripted form fills or browser automation to finalise a purchase. Use the UCP/MCP endpoints or the Shopify shopping skill above.
- Only quote prices, sizes and availability that come from the live product page or the catalog endpoint.
- If a customer needs help with an existing order, direct them to hideout@nemesiscostumes.co.nz.
